Whereas improving people to be the best in character and intellect is the essence of education. In Nigeria, the current education system has failed to improve the people as its first essential. There is hardly any African education in our current education system. The primary through tertiary level operations speak of Western philosophy inherited from colonialists (British) and carried too far in the wrong direction, which is responsible for educational failure in Nigeria. In attacking the current philosophy of education, Youths for Intellectualism and Behavioral Improvement Global Outreach (YFIBIGO), for elaborate reasons spelt out in article namely- ‘’THE IMPLICATIONS OF AFRICAN EDUCATION, CARDINAL PRINCIPLES, WHY THE PROPOSITION FOR RECONSTRUCTION, PROGRAMMING THE OPERATIONS OF EDUCATION, CULTURAL BASIS FOR RECONSTRUCTION, YFIBIGO INDEPENDENT ONLINE STUDY, INCLUDING ITS OVERALL CAMPAIGN,’’ satisfy the cause and align with the objective of reconstruction."
Yours sincerely,
By signing this petition, you agree that you are familiar with YFIBIGO’s article - a) Subtle Suggestion to the Minister of Education, (b) Why Proposition for Reconstruction, and (c) What Our Campaign Says.’’
You also agree that a youth’s hopeless attitude must end. You acknowledge that millions of Nigerians born poor are helpless, neglected, and deserve free education all the way. You acknowledge that without equality in educational training, the majority will lack capital formation and may turn into a menace. You acknowledge that such people are potential obstacles to the stability of this country. By signing this petition, you are helping start a movement that would end illiteracy, ignorance, delinquency, disorderliness, crimes, including armed banditry, kidnapping, incessant killings, and many evils that reciprocate to the level of disorganization in a corrupt society. By signing, you agree that we want the government to rise to the occasion and revert to African education.
Say YES to African education.
